it is finished.

finished my last final on tuesday. finished it in 15 minutes, and i probably got a 20%. finished quite a few beers before, during, and after as well. my friends and i brought in beers for our last final, and you can definitely say that drinking ensued afterwards. no, not the crazy drinking like undergrads, but definitely quite a few beers. but to give you a better picture, a little past midnight, we became tired and went home.

so, i am completely done with school. i have been telling myself this phrase over and over, and it has yet to sink in. the feeling of elation, relief, and joy i have been anticipating for so long never came. when i graduated from cal, i think i had the same feeling. it looks like i did.

i wonder what it is? well, a part of me feels like work will never be over (i am actually in atlanta working right now), another part of me feels that i have school next week or maybe in the fall. not quite sure though.

maybe it will hit me on graduation? i really hope so. or, maybe i should just start doing drugs.

multiplicity. multiple identities. it's becoming a reality for me. i have two hertz gold memberships, two frequent flier memberships for many airlines (one for work and one for personal), residents of two different states (i still have my CA license) - and speaking of which, my work just gave me another cell phone today so now i have two cell phones. yes, TWO cell phones... like those pimps and drug dealers. i can't cancel my personal because i am 5 months into a 2-yr contract and do not want to pay the huge penalty. what really irks me is that my work cell phone is really crappy. the directors get the new Moto Razrs, and i get something kinda cheap looking.

e-mail addresses is a whole new beast.

so as school winds down, i have to choose yet again what my primary e-mail is going to be. but if you know me, you know i get a kick out of signing up for multiple accounts. you guys even write me to different e-mail addresses. in any case, my current e-mail addresses:

- used to be my primary, but after telling a lot of customer service people and acquaintances my e-mail is "dumb boring andy" i think it's time to change.

- this e-mail was the one i used when i was applying to jobs and then to b-schools. i don't like this one because it's too hard to type and too long. and plus, it's really hard to physically write out underscores on lined spaces. you raise the underscore so people know it's there, and then they think they are dashes.

- this would be my first choice. simple and sweet. but if you have been keeping up with this blog, then you know the problems i have been having. and if you happen to be reading this, ALEX CHANG, please stop looking at porn... i get about 200 spams a day for you. oh, and your last BestBuy pay stub went through.

5. asdfqwerATgmail
- this would have been my other option, but a lot of people type this in when they want to access a website and register the e-mail address... so instead, they just type in 'asdfqwer'. getting kinda annoying.

- might save this one just for my personal friends. this one cracks me up.

- when i told aileen about this e-mail she asked "why is your last name 'changis'?" so i guess this one is out too.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS!!

Do not try to PM this over the phone. DO not call and ask questions. This is what you do:

1. Go buy the drive. I usually pay in electronics so I avoid contact with the CSR desk. Ask for duplicates of your receipt if they dont print them for you. Trust me it makes life easier to have copies.

2. Take everything to your car.

3. Go do something for a little bit. For me theres a Best Buy down the road so I go mill around for 30 minutes or so.

4. Return to Circuit City with a copy of the web page showing the drive at Sam's. If you're enterprising you already checked through click and pull and know its in stock at your local Sam's.

5. You bring in only your reciept (the original) and the web page.

6. Request the price match.

7. If you dont get the pm dont get ugly, you have 30 days. Go back and try again or try a different store.

Other method

Order after midnight before the drive is pulled from the web site. They usually remove sale and make it instore only. If you got in then the rebate won't print out. Just request the pm after showing the lesser price at Sam's. If you are unsuccessful follow #7.

You have 30 days. If it doesn't work out you can always return it and have lost nothing.

when the rebate forms go up waste no time in saving a copy. They tend to dissappear quickly.
