On our way from Seattle to Victoria, BC via the Clipper. The entire ferry was rented out to our group... with open bar!

compromise - i'm a huge believer in it. i believe that you simply cannot have a sustained long-term relationship with anyone without compromise. it does not matter if it is with your wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend, acquaintance, boss, coworker, business partner - you get the point. compromise is extremely important, and if only one party decides to compromise, it is not enough. everyone has his or her breaking point, and once that point is reached it is hard to make amends.

however, there are some things that one should never compromise in - such as faith or conscience. but in terms of the less important things, no matter how petty it may seem, people need to learn that compromise is the heart and bond of a relationship and without it, it cannot survive.

PEOPLE. STOP GETTING MARRIED (for at least until the end of the year).

That being said, I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling this summer, not including the travel I already do for work:

And it won't even be August.
