another reason why i love this school:

my professor got his wife the 1GB ipod shuffle for v-day, but she didn't like it. so he's going to sell it to me brand new, in the box with un-used headphones, for $50, payable after graduation upon my 8th paycheck. he bought it the day it was released for $150.

i told him i'd take it for $75 and i'd buy him a nice lunch as well.

his response: $50 and i buy YOU lunch.

crazy. people in the south are just unbelievable.
