i really like quizno's... and i'll tell you why. it's not the sandwich itself. i could care less whether it's toasted on some special bread, because it really doesn't make much of a difference to me, since my taste buds are shot. but the only reason why i really like quizno's is because of the condiments and sauce bar, or 'buffet' as i like to call it. as many people can testify, the latest being janette, i'm more into sauces and condiments than the actual meal itself. for example, the reason why i love la burrita the best is because the salsa that comes with the great burrito. papa john's is awesome because the garlic sauce, that is quite literally pure melted butter, and the pepperocini's. i really can't taste the difference between papa john's and pizza hut, and even if i could, i really wouldn't care. it's the extra crapola that matters.
so for quizno's, they have a toppings 'buffet' where they have 4 different sauces, pickles, chopped pepperocini's, jalapeno's, and whole pepperocini's. i literally pack it all in, along with the hot sauce and horseradish sauce, and put it all in my sandwich. of course, my sandwich is too big and all the condiments fall out with some lettuce, and then i have myself a condiment salad... which is my favorite part of quizno's. it is just a pile of jalapenos, pepperocini's, some lettuce, hot sauce, and horseradish sauce all mixed together, but it's awesome. so at quizno's, you get a sandwich AND a salad (and a free large drink with my student ID). awesome.
