so i lost the elections, and not surprisingly, not a single minority won. i'm disappointed in the international students!!!

but here's another issue: there's no asian-american club. i know it's hard to believe and one of the biggest reasons for me leaving california was the asians, but i feel like there should be a club started where the asians, international and non-international, can all meet up in a formal (or in-formal) gathering. if i started the club, there would definitely be members - not a lot, but some. however, i feel guilty and like a hypocrite. i mean, i know that asians bug me - but i really feel like that they are COMPLETELY mis-represented here and that bugs me as well. the honor council and sga both are comprised of only caucasians, who have completely different backgrounds than 2nd and 1st generations.

i have no idea what to do.

okay...this is very weird... creepy in fact...well, i JUST checked my email. i don't know if this is God's doing or coincidence, but this is an e-mail i JUST received from an international student:

I vote you for support of Asian students in SGA. Hope there is more chance for you to serve our community.

wow... very very very weird. i really need to think about this... or maybe i don't. geez i'm confused.
